heard today from the organiser that plenty of people attended, most of the engines were in the station yard and were able to do the road run, they had no rain either even though the engines on the field were not running about.

Chris.

I went yesterday afternoon.

The field was wet but straw etc. had been put down to make walkways across the muddy areas. I didn't get up to the engine line up pn the field but spent a fair while in the station yard where a dozen or more engines.

Hitched a lift on the back of an engine to the pub in the town (which I was very grateful for).

All in all in turned out alright for such a wet week.

The weather spoiled the event but I'm glad I went , the engines over the road at the Old Station looked at home in the surroundings .
Rained once while I was there but it was brief and light , good day out despite the lack of movement which was understandable given the field condition.
I wish I had seen the road run .
