Default Steam Traction World Open Day

New Factory move Open Day – Saturday 11th

To celebrate Steam Traction World’s move to their newly purchased factory Dean, Steve and staff invite you to join them in marking the occasion with a gathering of customers, friends, steam enthusiasts and engines.

It is hoped that many of our customers will bring their engines and take advantage of the quiet roads on the industrial estate to run their models. Part completed models will also be very welcome and can be displayed in an area set aside for them.

The full size Burrell Scenic Showmans Engine, Ex-Mayor will be in steam in the car park. Other plans for the days include:

• Informal guided tours of the new factory with machines in operation.
• Meeting STW staff.
• Opportunities to exchange experiences with customers and see their models.
• Official opening given by John Saunders (Owner of the Saunders Collection which includes Ex-Mayor).
• Engines in steam all day.
• Steam engine rides.

We do hope you will be able to join us. Our new address is:

Steam Traction World Ltd
33 Alvis Way
Royal Oak Daventry
Northants
NN11 8PG

Anyone interested in our new factory can monitor our progress on our Forum

Just turn up, we'll do our best to make sure you'll find it an interesting visit. We've had a few of our customers say that they're going to bring their engines along. At least two from Scotland and at the moment one from Cornwall, plus a few a bit closer to home. Some will be in steam, some will be part complete, should be a good mix.

Hopefully it'll be a good day.

Regards

Steve

Hi All

Just a quick update about our open day. As well as Ex-Mayor in steam, we're expecting a Stanley Model 70, three of our Lykamobiles, several 4" Burrell Agriculturals and I'll probably steam my Hornsby Chain Track Tractor.

Hope to see you there.

Steve
