Cheers Bryn. If we could negotiate some designated parking for the lowloaders that would top off the engine layout. Feedback positive or 'constructive' is welcomed. Phil and I simply make it up as we go along, trying to fit everyone in. It wasn't easy this year, keeping a clean line. That coal is a bit mucky, which makes the air rather murky at times, but being given more is most important.

May I add my thanks to Bryn, Phil and Adrian - The coal was a bit smokey but by gum it steamed. On the whole a thoroughly relaxed and enjoyable weekend.

Some minor suggestions as requested
I agree wrt an area where low loaders (and maybe excess and/or all) exhibitors cars) could be parked.
I know its a catch 22 - the more space, the fewer engines, I couldn't get the fire irons out of the living van belly box without punching a hole in Tony's caravan and for some reason he was opposed to that idea. No big issue I used someone elses.

We had to go down to 13ft spaces because of the number of engines, that's also why the main line was so far back, i.e. to lengthen the end sections. Space really is at a premium so for next year there will be tweaks, hopefully improving the space utilisation without compromising the open and clean appearance of the line.

My constructive criticism, is more loos are needed. :-)

Hell of a walk to the loos from the engines.

Adrian & Co.

Agree wholeheartedly with Sam's Boy's comments.

Working Demo's and a Playpen for me - though I understand space is limited.

WRT the engine line :

Move the rear line forward to allow more camping space behind and bring some engines round along the road way to close the ends of the C shape a bit more (like a circle with an opening if you catch my drift).

Thanks Gents

Get rid of the musical firewood and whizz bangs, more room for engines
