The engine was supplied new in 1914, within a year a new set of rear wheels were supplied by Marshall's. I would guess that the second photo may be the earlier set, they have the outside of the T-ring removed for reasons unknown, I can't believe that they needed to reduce the width.. The other two photos are probably later and show the standard T-ring. The later set did not survive after the engine was running only as a roller for John Peter Jones. Someone said that they were probably used to reinforce a well capping.
