Default Messrs Goddard, Riley & West Thrashing Contractors

...also Burrell, Marshall & Ford agents for Shropshire & South Cheshire.

In glorious autumn sunshine the latest addition to their fleet was put through its paces this morning under the company directors' watchful eyes.

Lining up...

Under way...

looking good so far...

Emerging from the right places... so far

It would definately seem the arthritic woodworm that were originally holding the decrepit hen house together have now been replaced by something a little more structural - although Mr Riley did seem a little uncertain whilst stood on the top setting up, perhaps the danger of falling straight through hasn't totally gone?

Alas, Shropshire engine owners would appear to have been robbed of another source of lighting up wood, as the satisfying whirr and patter of grain suggests that after many years in abandonment it has been resurrected.
Never mind, perhaps Mr. Goddard can be persuaded to bake us all a loaf of bread instead?

Congratulations to all who have been involved in the restoration!
...I wonder what lost cause is going to be tackled next??

Very best Regards and Thanks to The Goddard's for the Lovely Lunch and the great day out.

P.S... Nothing is a Lost Cause,

Now the impressive pile of grain sacks, they're worth shouting about.

A great day had by all. Great to see it done. I take my hat off to all involved in its restoration.

Two very short videos as I was meant to be feeding the baler. Sorry about the quality.

Don't mind at all. However I can see and watch mine, but I can't see yours. I always use the codes as described in the "adding youtube clips to posts" thread in the "how" section. Never had a problem before. Strange!
