There was discussion about the Leigh Arms only last night, well that is to say we had to discuss something while we drank Tea, scoffed Cake and sampled the Biscuits !.

But as no firm decision was arrived at there will have to be another meeting (probably two) before a draft agenda can be put to Committee for initial assessment which will no doubt be sent back for redrafting and subsequent resubmission, after due process there will be an initial vote and if approved it will be sent forward to the final engine crews to be considered alongside a full list of pubs to be found on route !.

For the past couple of years, I have organised some Appalachian dancers to perform at this event, which I'm sure you have all seen and enjoyed, they are the only Appalachian dancers in the North West, I have personally sponsored them for a fee of £100 00, would LTEC, The Leigh Arms or anyone else be prepared to "Chip in" towards their costs?.
