Cheshire Events this weekend
Saturday & Sunday, steam etc gathering at The Leigh Arms, A49 at Acton Bridge (Just down the road from The Holly Bush) nice event, last year there were some 15/16 full size engines + miniatures etc,., On the sunday we have the return of "Mind The Step" Appalachian Dancers at 11 00am and 1 00pm, good to watch and volunteers always wanted.
Approx 8 miles south on the A49 at Cotebrook, Cheshire Vintage Tractor Club are holding a Threshing weekend with two threshing boxes and balers with four trailers of Oats to put through, dependant upon ground conditions the Foster "Winnie" will be "on the belt".
Two events within a few miles of each other, what more could you ask ?
Just over the border in Derbyshire, the Buxworth Steam Group have a Steam Party.over the weekend, it gets better by the minute
