Part built 4” scale 7hp Foster Compound. The boiler was made by John Rex and I have the certificates for the steel and the test certificate, all castings to finish, the gears have all been cut and had keyways put in, the 2nd 3rd and 4th shafts have also had the keyways cut, the crankshaft has been roughed out ready for grinding, the shaft bearing housings have been machined & bearings fitted. The front wheels are together just needing riveting & the back wheels are in a kit of parts ready to put together, the winch drum and the drive boss are machined. The cylinder block has had the radius machined to fit on the barrel, the bores are machined as are the flat faces on top of the block & valve chest. I also have a former for making the belly tank ends and the brass sheet. We were going to make it into a showman’s, so I have a pair of dynamo bracket sides which were laser cut.
