Default Horse-Drawn Pantechnicon. J E Thomas

Something a little different....
A late 1800's early 1900's Horse-Drawn Pantechnicon in the livery of J E Thomas Furniture Removers from Oswestry.
Given its vintage its in pretty remarkable condition apart from the 48" rear wheels which are shot!
I don't know much more about this item or the company although I did find the picture attached showing the steam wagon towing a similar trailer, No.5, and this gives some idea of dates and age. The steam wagon was not purchased till 1910 allegedly and as mine is No. 4 I think its safe to say it pre dates this.
Kirkstall hub caps suggesting they made the axles..
That's about it, pictures tell the story
Viewing in Rickmansworth

couple of other pictures in my album....
Get in touch to discuss price etc
Can arrange delivery at your cost....
