Default Netley Marsh Steam and Craft Show July 21/22/23

The Netley Marsh Steam and Craft show was setup in 1971 initially called the “Puffin” to raise funds for the local church that was in urgent need of repair. It started as a one day event, and has progressed since to three days and being named Netley Marsh Steam and Craft Show.

We have many different exhibits that visit and each year, and this year we have a wide selection of vehicles from the Southampton and District Transport Heritage Trust including the bus that was used to carry the Southampton FC players when Southampton won the FA Cup back in 1976. We are looking forward to seeing this again along with the rest of their vehicles they are providing.

We are also looking forward to having around 40 steam engines joining us, from miniature, through to working engines and Showman’s. There are many different events happening throughout the day in the main arena where the public will be able to see most of the exhibits attending this years event.

Another attraction fit for the whole family is as seen on TV’s Ken Fox with his Wall of Death. This ever popular attraction never fails to impress and we are lucky to be one of the very few shows in the South to have them. As well as Ken Fox’s Wall of Death, we are thrilled to have Tigers Motorcycle Display Team with us again this year. After many years, it was decided to have them back, and what a display they put on!

We are looking forward to welcoming Crystal Kingdom to our show, who are a children’s entertainer which based on Disney stories that will engage our younger visitors. As well as this, we have an amazing line up of live music to be played throughout the evening, along with Fireworks on Friday evening.

The show is also pleased to welcome Ringwood Brewery as the shows main sponsor. They joined us back in 2016, and we have grown a strong relationship with them providing us with their excellent ales. We really cannot wait for the show and believe the show is suitable for anyone of any age!

We look forward to welcoming you!
