Though not guaranteed to be steam oriented we are having Mr Neil Watson giving a presentation.
During recent years he has been presenting illustrated talks following about 30 years of research on Boston and its surrounding area’s local history, and in particular its Entertainment Heritage.
He is a photographer specialising in restoration and enhancement of photographs, and he uses a combination of Digital photographs, restored archive films and recorded interviews to give an insight into entertainment in the area from the
mid 1800’s to the present day, looking at early fairs etc.
While he uses mainly Boston archive material, it is of more general interest as it describes what travelling fairs were like during that period.
There is no charge and no need to book, unless you're bringing a coach load......
