I would imagine that you could work this out by measuring up the parts which you actually have , with them assembled on the engine . The critical dimensions will be the radius , from the pivot point of the lever to the raised position of the latch , and the movement of the reach rod when moving the link from full gear ahead to full gear reverse . Allow for the thickness of the lever itself . Have a stab at this on paper , full size if you can , then if you have a jigsaw try a mock up in plywood . Once you have the whole thing assembled with the plywood quadrant , then you can see any errors and correct them . And go and look at the bits on a similar Aveling if you can .
