At the weekend we took the Garrett back to Stourbridge wharf where she earned her living working for the Sadler Brother's in the 1920's. It was especially gratifying that the grandson & great grand daughter of one of the Sadler Brothers were able to see the engine come 'back home'.

The occasion was the open weekend at the Bonded Warehouse on the wharf which has been restored by volunteers. The weekend combines a canal boat rally, vintage & veteran cars / lorries and motorbikes as well as a few local engines and fairground type organ. There's a beer tent selling an excellent range of beers with entertainment. All in all an excellent weekend do.

The confined areas and crowds meant that the photographic opportunities were a bit limited
