I couldn't agree more Mr Brass Cleaner. I personally think that if a horse is to be taken on the queens highway they out to have some form of Identification number branded onto them so that if an incident occurs the animal is instantly recognisable like a car. Also it means that if an incident occurs that there is no issue with owner identification and insurance policies.

The practice of horse riders round our way is to ride up the road 2 abreast even o0n roads with blind/tight corners. the riders on the outside then expect you to mount the verge or footpath to get by them. This really gets me mad!
