Morrison scarifier handwheel - NEW
I have for sale a NEW Morrison scarifier handwheel, obtained many years ago from a steam roller contractor. It is not a modern casting. This is bored for a 1 1/2" shaft, with a 3/8" key. The handwheel is 16 3/4" o.d.
These handwheels were often broken as a result of 'incidents' while at work. The handwheel is used to raise and lower the tines into the road surface. It is possible that it will also fit a Price scarifier, but I cannot confirm this.
Morrison scarifiers were made by Aveling & Porter Ltd of Rochester, but were also fitted to engines by other manufacturers. .
