Sir Norman Foster DCC 4.5” Scale Road Locomotive (Based On Victory Showman’s Engine)
Built in 2005 Using Full Size Engine Boiler Spec and Fire Box.
This Engine Has Been Engineered With Longevity In Mind.
New Tubes Fitted In 2014, Smoke Box, Sight Glass and Fittings.
Recently Fitted New Main Bearing Bushes.
I have also two 4" Scale Custom Trailers to go with the engine, One Covered (Can be open if canvas removed) and One Open (Mainly used for carrying named water drums).
Its a great engine with good detail, runs at 160psi pressure, It has a good third gear that turns a reasonable speed on the road. (I have the original gear which will come with the engine). The Chap that built the engine also modified the cylinder ports as these some times can suffer on the Foster Engine.
There are a few extras I will also include with the engine.
Boiler Test Has Just Been Carried Out All Passed. The Engine Is Show Ready.
