This weekend is the annual East Anglian Traction Engine Society Dinner. Once again we will be hosting the local firm of Chuffins - the double act of Waling & Baldwin, who will be auctioneering a number of items donated by generous persons in aid of club funds.
This year Kevin has obtained (from Ragsdales) a 6" Burrell Road loco hub top and over many nights of labour turned it into a rather attractive money box. It is big and it is heavy, a real auctioneer would probably describe it as being 'of robust construction'. I can also confirm that it is painted in the correct colour of Burrell Crimson Lake supplied by some local paint company or another...
It will be auctioned following the meal on Saturday night. If anyone on here would like to place a commission bid please send me a PM or give me a call and I'll happily place bids on the night.
Following the auction it can be picked up from Craftmaster, or sent to a UK mainland address of your choice by courier at no extra charge.
