HI Guys, since there aren't many dutch steam events posted here in the show reports, I was of the opinion that should be changed and therefore i write this one. the Flaeijelfeest is held in Oudehorne near Heerenveen(just look it up on google maps). this event is quite local to me.
This year the highlight was a pair of ploughing engines, this pair of Heucke is owned and demonstrated by people from Agrarbildungszentrum Landshut-Schönbrunn which have traveled 870 km.
Another personal highlight was a Kemna steam tractor owned by a club called Stoomwerktuigen (
http://www.stoomwerktuigen.nl/stoomw...emna/kemna.htm). I followed the restoration on their website for the past years, but i haven't seen it before.
