5" Gauge Petrol-Electric Locomotive
Pretty much brand new with 13hp ( 200cc ) electric start petrol engine, driving twin alternators, twin disc air brakes, with on board compressor and twin air tanks, twin 2hp power bogies ( 2hp total ), twin lights and horns.
All steel construction , with same drive technology as a full size diesel / electric. Running on 5" gauge power bogies, but with a much larger body to accurately portray the narrow gauge style. It's more like a 7 1/4" Gauge locomotive at 50" long, 20" wide, and 33" high. It's a large and powerful locomotive.
Based on the Ruston and Hornsby No. 6 locomotive at the Corris Railway in Wales.
Only built last year (2017) and little used. Built to a good standard.
