Despite all that rain falling in the South West, as of midnight Wednesday we have had very little rain in Torbay and the Showground is in excellent condition. There are a number of engines already on site and the Old tyme fairground which has the only, still travelling, Boxing and Wresting Booth, the Wall of Death, Galloper, Big Wheel, Noahs Ark, and 1940's Dodgem track already built up. The Heavy haulage area and the Steam ploughing will go ahead as planned unless we have exceptionally heavy rainfall over the next 24 hours. Keep up to date at.
