The decision, by Richard Ashworth of Outdoor Events, to bring this event forward two weeks, so that it didn't clash with Smallwood rally some ten miles away, proved to be a wise decision, as all sections were up, some twenty eight engines were present, which is excellent as a lot of the regulars were at Steam on the Dock at Liverpool, I think this rally will go from strength to strength and become on a par with Richards other Cheshire rallies, Cheshire Steam and Astle Park..
