The Thurlow and Haverhill Steam and Country Show, known to many as the Thurlow Rally, takes place this year on 2nd & 3rd August on the Horseheath Racecourse, A1307 Cambridge to Haverhill road.
Around 30 full size engine are expected, along with Models, Bygones, Organs, Vehicles, Stationary Engines and Tractors. A wide range of Trade Stand, Crafts, Beer Tent and Refreshments are available, as well as helicopter pleasure flights.
On Saturday, David Seamark will me giving his Sheepdog Demonstration, while on Sunday, by poular demand, we welcome back the Glenmoriston Pipe Band.
It is planned to have demonstrations of Woodsawing and Baling
, if anybody has any working equipment to add to this, that they fancy bringing along, please let me know.
We are hoping for a good turnout at his year's Rally, which is dedicated to the memory of Don Loveday - who put so much time and effort into organising this event over the years.
