Aveling tractor chimney base
I have an original Aveling GND/'L' type tractor pressed steel/wrought iron chimney base available for use as a pattern for anyone who seeks originality (rather than fitting a cast iron base). It is too far gone to be repairable. I don't expect any payment for this but would like it to go to a good home. In view of the size and weight of the item it would probably have to be collected from St Albans (AL3), but it could be couriered at your cost. PM me for more details, including your email address.
