Had a brilliant long weekend in the Lake District for my birthday, taking in the sights, and the odd bit of steam along the way.

It all started catching 'Rhoda' on her long journey just south of Warrington:


Then we went to Old Hall Farm, a very interesting place full of vintage machinery:














My Birthday morning started with a trip on the Steam Yacht Gondola around Coniston:




Then the Lakeland Motor Musuem:




And a flying visit to the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway:
