Default Easter Sunday at the Burrell Museum

The Burrell Museum's traditional Easter Sunday Steam-Up took place in bright sunshine and high temperatures. (Some of us can remember when it was almost wiped out by snow!) In the sylvan setting of the next door supermarket car park, here's the line up headed by the Museum's 1927 DCC roller no. 4061. (I'm afraid I didn't notice the flood lights till I got home. At least they are dead central on the chimney.)

Next to it, the Museum's 1902 SCC agricultural no. 2479.

Then the Easton family's SCC Burrell no. 2770 of 1905.

No. 2770 again.

'Queen Mary' the Burrell Museum's Showman's Road Loco no. 3833 of 1920. (Not a good picture of the engine, but I liked the smart gent on the right.)

Burrell no. 728 of 1877 'Century'. "Believed to be the oldest working Burrell in existence". (Should it be Century and a Half?)

A miniature Burrell all the way from Dartford - 90 miles.

Not a Burrell, but Steamfly3535's 3 ins scale 'Minnie'.

A nice chance to catch up with a number of local steam people, a number of whom were there without their engines1
Bill.
