I always thought a Fowler plate was on the near side of the boiler lagging. (As our two Fowlers are). I did have a look there myself and saw the four holes which looked like it had been taken off or was there at some time. I didn't see anything on the tender or horn plates, but I didn't get up there (just looked over). Maybe this is bit of a wind up me thinks., who knows. Anyone got a real photo of whatever number was present, if any ??.
