Steam Plough Club AGM
The Steam Plough Club had a great outing to the new Israel Newton premesis over the weekend. A most impressive facility, we were treated to a demonstration of a tube plate being pressed and there was so much to look at.
There were 5 engines in steam who went on a run in the afternoon which took in the fearsome hill in the centre of Cromford.
Fowler BB1 15441 was strategically parked so none of us missed the entrance:
The newly imported Ruthemeyer steam roller was a real treat, unusual name but much of the design is similar to SCC Burrell rollers (from whom I understand they licensed the design):
