HMS Sultan Summer Show 2008

Roaded home yesterday after another great show at Sultan.

Weather was very kind to us, with a good road run Saturday night. Ended nicely in the evening with a BBQ & session in the beer tent!!

Sunday's weather was grand, with even more people than Saturday.

Many thanks to Shane & the others for sorting out another great show. Here's to next years show as I would love to attend again.

Cheers

Dan

P.S Has anyone got any photo's from the event?

I had a great afternoon crewing for Dan on his roller. Much easier than mine on the road and a throttle that you do not have to have popeye forearms to operate! Very much appreciated Dan, thanks.

Great show, good to see 15/16 engines turned out for what is really a navy based show and not a steam rally in the traditional sense. Almost the better for it. Keep up the good work.

Please can I come next year?

Glad you had a good time, thanks for your help. Not bad for an Aveling driver!! ;)

And of course you can come along with me next year;), you only have to ask!!:p
( I take it you mean you would like to go with your engine?)

Actually we thought it looked more like the seven dwarfs...but two of them seem to have run off somewhere:
stinky
steamy
grouchy
shorty
sooty
