First time at this Rally ,excellent weather and a great day out.
The rally seemed well attended and well organised my thanks to those involved. I have been to rallies' where there is a "play-pen" though I have noticed that they do not seem to be used very much, most engines seem to stay at there pegs apart from going in the ring is there a reason for this. |
It could be too hot to play , or the organisers may not really be interested , seeing the playpen as a waste of space .

There is a play pen however with the grass being so dry movement was difficult. The ploughing engines normally go for a run round but they were spinning on the ground with it being so hard.
It was also so dry nobody really wanted to start any fires! |
When you consider it was hot enough to fry an egg on the shovel - while it was still in the bunker, that may explain the lack of engine movement.
