Reluctant sale due to new projects (and old ones I need to finish!...)

Stenner Number 4, 48ft long 24ft table portable power feed rack saw bench.

5ft blade recently hammered. New full thickness adjustable riving knife. Inserted tooth.

Original gear drive power feed, 3 speed with fast return. New feed friction clutches fitted for fine control. (not the more common multi step pulley type power feed).

New drive and feed belts, endless durable rubber type, 6" wide x 80ft.

New 12ft end extension frames (both made new in Douglas Fir),

Majority of table rollers have new spindles.

New offset drawbar.

Rollerbearing turntable. all new oak fore carriage to suit.

Part new main frame (LHS main bearer) etc.

Fitted with modern axles and farm trailer type wheels. Travels with ease behind a Fordson Major.

Delivery arranged to anywhere in UK or World Wide at cost.

The saw can be demonstrated at any time by appointment.

This is a real man sized sawbench and is ready for work. At an event it is a real show stopper.

As with all old machinery there is scope for more restoration, but this bench is a real work horse and has cut many hundreds of feet of hard and soft wood in recent times since we have owned it.

I would consider part exchange for a Number 2 Stenner or fixed type steel stenner, with cash adjustment.
