Great Northern Steam Fair - 14 April 2013
I visited the Great Northern Steam Fair today at Beamish which is a long trip for me (long trip for most people!) It is the first time I have visited Beamish.
The dull conditions put pay to any exceptional photographs which I have seen other people produce in previous years but I had a good time watching the engines circulate and talking to numerous TT members. Here are a few pics: Aveling & Porter 3315 - first time I have seen it in steam! http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/tth/13...1-DSC_0918.jpg Sentinel Waggon 1465 http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/tth/13...0-DSC_1001.jpg McLaren 1110, looking absolutely A1 as normal: http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/tth/13...1-DSC_1054.jpg Foden 13218, a local engine: http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/tth/13...3-DSC_1082.jpg Foden 13218 and Marshall 17134 in the background: http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/tth/13...5-DSC_1097.jpg Aveling-Barford Road Roller in the station yard: http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/tth/13...3-DSC_1138.jpg Ransomes Sims & Jefferies 24585, "Northern Star" in brief moment of sunshine: http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/tth/13...2-DSC_1168.jpg Aveling & Porter 11145 "Ayesha": http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/tth/13...9-DSC_1205.jpg Another of of McLaren 1110: http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/tth/13...0-DSC_1229.jpg And finally Fowler 17106 "Duke of York": http://www.steamscenes.org.uk/tth/13...4-DSC_1245.jpg |
