Crankshaft bearing brasses for 8hp Marshall TE

Has anybody got a set of patterns or a rough-cast set of crankshaft bearings that would fit a 8hp Marshall TE which I could hire/buy.

The engine is also missing its con. rod so any bits or drawings for this would be most welcome, It would be of the old pattern as the engine is from 1888.

Thanks.

Hi
the castings for the main bearings for my engine came with it, it was my under standing that they were cast from a patton made by Dave Eves for some one, so may be worth asking him
I have a drawing that shows the early con rod, I can do you a copy of it if you would like?

I think Hatch Heritage might have some patterns I machined some there for Dave Paxtons engine a few years ago.

Allen Eaton also needs bearings or patterns for his engine

Patterns....

I would never bother with castings for these small bearings. Messing with foundries to ing & frowing. Just get some Leaded soft bronze from Leeds Bronze. You will find it at least half the cost & although there is a lot of swarf machining time is much less. Everything to do with foundries & patterns means one thing..Expense. Cheerio M.
