International Steam 20th September 2016 07:24 PM

Old Warden 2016

I made it 168 full size road engines, plus 2 steam pumps / fire engines, 3 steam cars, 2 steam operated fairground rides and over 100 miniatures. Too bad about the sun going on holiday for almost the entire rally, but for the brief moments when it did show the results were excellent, showing the dross for what it was. Despite all the showman's engines present, my best moment was photographing 'Sunset' at sunset on the Friday evening.

Please let me know of errors and omissions as usual.

So there were over 100 miniatures, so are there any photos??? Unfortunately I was unable to attend, so would like to peruse those miniatures that were there. Thanks.

Theres usually a lack of photos for miniatures at all rallys, quite a shame really.
Next rally season now I've got a decent camera ill try and fill that gap

Nice to see Blackbeard again the 4" road loco and wagons, my previous engine before getting a big un. I did encounter him on Sunday morning during a quick walkabout.

So much variety in the miniature section here.

Didn't see you on your Sunday morning constitutional Brian but I did see you at the controls of the yachts frightening the fares witless.
