How many engines do you expect? Do you have any working displays? Have never been able to get before as it normally clashes with events up North.

Hi Anthony,

This event has more of an old time rally feel to it, no engine pegs, no parade, engines are free to travel around the site as much or as little as you like. There's normally somewhere between 15-20 traction engines, and a racksaw working. Also it's one of only 2 annual public openings of the Stapleford 10 1/4' Gauge Miniature Railway, there are some absolutely superb railway loco's running all weekend. The line goes round the park, and is about 2 miles long....

They normally get a good turn out, here is a listing of engines they had in 2007.

I understand Foster SRL Victorious is also going along this year.

David.

Just got back from the site - looking very promising - look forward to seeing some of you there.

50th Anniversary of the opening of the railway this year as well, worth a trip just for that.

Simon
