Aveling 'E' type parts
 

I have the following original Aveling and Porter spare parts available for ‘E’ type 10 ton piston valve engines. They are from the spares stock of contractor W.W. Buncombe of Highbridge, and were removed from this type of engine when broken up.
The items are in serviceable condition, and may help those with broken or missing parts. In view of their weight, the heavier items will have to be collected from St. Albans, Herts.

Water pump crankshaft eccentric sheave (split) (also fits ‘F’ type)
Water pump top cover plate (also fits ‘F’ type)
Water pump rod and ram (also fits ‘F’ type)
Connecting Rod
Small End adjusting cotter, with washer and nuts
Piston Rod gland (New - casting only, requires finishing)
Front cylinder cover
Complete set of crankshaft eccentric straps and sheaves
Motion rocking shaft lever
Rear wheel retaining pins for 10 ton engines (2 off)
2nd shaft collar and retaining pin
