Try BOSS , or google alternatives . There are some good looking modern ones around .

Try refrigeration parts suppliers, as fridges generally have a MWP well over 200 psi.

fundamentally your not going to find one in brass. you will struggle to find one in bronze. Frankly I don't think you'll find one.
You need a PN40 rated valve, and these are only now really available in iron or stainless, They re not pretty, and quite pricey. My engines are 200psi. For an in line valve on boiler feed, I've gone PN32 given they are protected by formal manufacturer fitted non return valves which are all subject to inspection and test as part of the written scheme. That is they don't see steam at 14bar and 198degrees C. I went for PN40 globe valves when I fitted new as the PN32 ones don't seem to last at the edge of their safe operating spec. |
Many thanks for the information. @bob thanks @8_10 yes agreed.
This should do https://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pi...ictureid=68213 Russ |
Sorry , Russ , but that is only rated at 14 bar at 198 C , 210 psi or so . You must read the fine print down the page . Do a google search and you may find a higher rated equivalent . Chrome or cast finish can be nicely dated with a minute on a wire wheel .

@Bob, indeed I did. This is cold water not hot.
