Miniature Steam on the Road

Sunday 7th October - the NTET's 'Steam-It Sunday' - is also the 26th annual Model Engineers' Day at the Forncett Steam Museum in south Norfolk. (http://www.forncettsteammuseum.co.uk/index.html)
As well as an exhibition of 'table top' model engineering, (hopefully including an insouciant guide to building a 4 ins SCC Burrell), there will be a gathering of miniatures. 15 were booked in at the last count.
They will be having a run of one mile up the road to the Norfolk Tank Museum, home of Guy Martin's WW I tank which you may have seen at the Great Dorset.
We've been promised an escort by Fowler AA7 'Cissie' with possibly some other local engines. (You know who you are. If you read this, please confirm!)
More entries would be welcome. Please PM me for an invitation and entry form.
Hope to see you there, with or without an engine.
Bill.

Bump.
Not long now till 7th October, and the forecast looks good - dry - the main thing as far as I'm concerned.
We've a 'full house' of interesting models indoors, including some new ones.
However we could cope with some more miniatures. Please let me know if you'd like to bring something.
'Cissie' will be joined by 'Margaret', an A&P GND tractor.
Bill
PS If you've been before, we've cracked the visitors car parking problem. Free shuttle bus from the village hall car park, 300 yds away.

Looking forward to it Bill. Are you taking your own 6" Burrell? It looks very interesting in you profile pic.

Rob,
That's the plan. If you're there do come say say hello. It's always nice to put a face to people on here.
My Burrell is a half size version of the smallest engine Burrell's ever made - just 3 tons.
Bill.

Hello Bill, I've sent off an entry form but will be there anyway. I'm really looking forward to seeing your Burrell (and your good self of course), I just hope that it doesn't inspire me to model it because I'll need to live to about 150yrs old to finish what I'm doing!

It was a good show, we enjoyed the tank museum as well. Sorry I didn't say hello as you were surrounded by people at the time! Another time maybe....
