1922 Aveling 8 ton C type Roller
 

1922 Aveling and Porter C Type Single piston valve, new to Barnes Brothers of Southwick, Wilts.

Follwing Barnes Brothers, the roller spent time with Gravesend CC, final working job was on the New Beach Holiday Camp in Earnly (Chichester), Saved by Chris Lambert (Horsmonden) approximately 1955.

Current boiler cert, 8 years left on the current hydraulic cert, boiler in very good condition having had a new firebox, boiler repairs and tubeplate early 1990's.

Good mechanical and cosmetic condition, repainted in the Barnes simple livery as it would have had following the first hydraulic in their ownership.
This is an unmolested and original Barnes Brothers roller, as until our ownership it had never been on the rally scene.

Comes complete with 4 wheeled water cart, firing irons and lubes etc and spares (including a spare pair of rear roll rims)
