Exhaust silencer
For my Wolseley wasp
Exhaust silencer 1&1/4" or 32 mm inlet and outlet pipe 5" body diameter ,or there abouts 24 " long ,an inch or two either way isn't critical Any ideas or leads for supplier would be most welcome Thanks in advance Cheers Martin |
Just a thought , do you have a custom exhaust maker near by? Have had a few items done for agrucultural products over the years, more than likey somewhere 'boy racers" would use!.

Got a local firm on stand by to make up exhaust, but am having problems finding silencer with correct input and outlet mountings
1&1/4 " is not much used now Yes I can used flared couplings at either end but would like to avoid this if possible Cheers Martin |
Does anyone know if the exhaust system fitted to the Morris minor is 1&1/4" or32 mm bore ?
Think I could get enough usable parts from this system if right diameter Seen complete systems on interweb for around£80 But can't get any info as to tube dimensions Cheers Martin |

I have catalogues in work which give all the dimensions of available exhaust systems, but I am not in work until Wednesday - if you can wait. Cheers Carl. |
Thanks Carl
That will be great Cheers Martin |
Carl , would you be so kind as to copy to me as well , the Austin is also needing a suitable systym .
By the way , to those interested , it turns out to be a 12/6 with the 15.9 engine option , I thought that it all seemed rather light for a 16 horse car . |

There are thick catalogs with a few hundred pages in each one - not practical to copy. Once I dig them out I will let you know and you can give me some critical dimensions and I will have a look for anything similar. Cheers Carl. |
In the meantime you could both have a play with - http://www.walkerexhaust.com/catalog...mension-search
However it looks like the smallest in/out pipe size Walker manufacture is 1.5" diameter. Cheers Carl. |
Mm , I see , a case of careful what you wish for . First of all I must get the floor boards out and measure up the available space .
