What an excellent show Pete Parrish and his team of helpers put on at Wilton every couple of years. The exhibits are all superb and the ploughing engine theme brought out some unusual engines

Sam, it's a 6HP 3 speed loco and not tractor. A 6" one would be nice:D

The model of the Wallis is absolutely amazing - what scale is it? In all fairness to Sam, it does have a short wheelbase and the tall belly tank is the same style as the Wallis tractors. Any well engineered model is a pleasure to look at, but it is refreshing to see something unusual modelled. M.J. Engineering have a Wallis agricultural listed on their website but I don't think I've ever seen one in the flesh, or a photo of one. All of the models here look to be of a very high quality, very inspiring stuff! Thanks to all for posting the pictures!

Im not sure about the scale of the Wallis, but there was one thing i couldn't work out on the day. On that stand it had a mixture of cardboard and live steam models. I wasn't sure weather the model was made of metal or cardboard!! Can anyone work it out. You may think it would be obvious which was which, but the standard of the cardboard model was equally as high as the metal ones as this N15 shows.

Manufactured by Eric Best - his collection of models are truly outstanding examples .
