Bressingham Steam in Miniature Weekend
I was actually asked to put some pictures of this event on TT! So here's the best of my bunch.
A central meeting point is by the gallopers, sadly not steam driven at present. http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=40319 A particularly fine Fowler R3 road loco. http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=40320 And a slightly smaller MacLaren. http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=40322 There's a good road from the camp site to the museum, here being used by a DCC Burrell. http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=40321 A 3 ins Burrell agricultural. http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=40323 A Foster agricultural - well known in East Anglia - with the next generation of drivers. http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=40324 Massed ranks ready for the parade. There were nearly 30 engines present. http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=40325 This pretty little Savage wagon had been generously donated to the museum the previous day by a local model engineer. (I did overhear a reference to it having a scale driver!) http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=40326 Another interesting wagon, the Burrell protoype of 1900. http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=40327 A 4 ins Burrell agricultural. http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=40328 A 6 ins Savage 'Little Samson'. http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=40329 Finally another Burrell, the Savage and a Foden apparently racing for the exit after the parade. http://www.tractiontalkforum.com/pic...ictureid=40330 This is an excellent event for miniatures, with plenty of hard surface to run around on and a nice setting.
