Weald of Kent (Woodchurch) Show
The 60th anniversary of The Weald of Kent Traction Engine Society was celebrated in some style at one of the best shows in the South East of England. Always something different at this show, and a great venue with loads of space for engines to stretch their legs. The demonstration "ploughing" using an engine (presumably with a bit of brake applied) to simulate the plough certainly looked good............until the cable snapped! Anyway, a few shots from a very enjoyable day. 21 of the engines on display belonged to members of the society. I've been promised a list of these........

The impressive Sentinel line-up.
