I would love to come but it is on the same weekend as Kimble air field. I have decided that Kimble is the Best because you can drive the engines around all day on the run way.

cheers

Pickering Traction Engine Rally

We are going and looking forward to it. In what way has the lay out changed?

steamsec 20th July 2010 03:16 PM

Main change is that the public campsite has moved. Some slight tweaking in the front and middle fields whch should make things more visitor friendly.

Steamhead21 24th July 2010 12:26 PM

Public camping across main road from showfield entry via footbridge no disrespect to organisers but not very push/wheelchair friendly.
Disabled camping behind autojumble rows on edge of main showfield. so it will be better for main arena events. Anyone know if road run to Thorton le dale taking place this year usualy on friday evening.
Anyone driving their engines to pickering on road.
Reguards Peter.
