4" Traction engine / 6" lorry

Hi Everyone,

On the look out for a 4" traction engine or road loco. Would prefer a larger model such as foster or garrett traction engine or a road loco as prefer a seat attached to the engine itself as safer with the children.

Alternatively something like a 6" clayton lorry would also be of interest, (would love a 6" foden but i think out of budget)

Would also be interested in something that needs finishing off but doesn't need too much machining as this would have to be contracted out. Or a Steam traction world kit thats not completed/started.

In first instance please send me a PM with location, what you have and price.

Thanks, Tom

Have you checked out the dealers websites, there's two 4"fosters at berrybrooks and they will offer transportation to get the engine home to you.

To be honest i would rather buy off someone directly, buying from a dealer offers no benefit for me.

Saying that I would consider buying from station road steam as they seem to get their hands on some really nice stuff and the prices seem pretty fair. Berrybrooks i get the impression most engines are average but top end prices.
