Aveling van/trailer plates

Worth an ask- does anyone have either of these plates for an Aveling van kicking about they wish to part with? Both mine are long gone sadly.
Kind regards, Ryan

Richard Buck I believe has the pattern for the Aveling & Porter plate.

We had some cast for our van before we sold it and they wasn’t expensive. See if someone can lend you some to copy.

I don’t know where we had ours done as that was 10yrs ago.

It wasn't so long ago I still had all the original plates off the van now in Abbey Pumping station.

The weight plate is spuriously on my living van as I thought that was a better place than on the wall.

The two makers plates went different ways. Roddy Swain has one on his (non) Aveling trailer. Brian Allison had the other to go on his real one.

The Denbighshire County Council plate (an aveling iron casting) vanished after my father had it back after some copies were cast off it. Which was rather annoying.

If you are struggling I can get you a weight plate cast in ali.

Thanks Hedd, sorry to hear about the council plate but at least the others have good homes. I'm in no hurry so will look a while longer. Kind of you to offer help with an ali one if I'm stuck, ta very much.
