Can anyone identify these two engines, I can't make out any identities, so any help would be appreciated.

The second photo looks like A&P 4 nhp no 11423 own by the Gerrard’s from Christchurch.

Yep thats our Aveling with me driving. Hasn't been to Dorset in about 20 years
Has only been on the rally scene this year after 15 years in the workshop being converted back to a tractor.

It was the fact that it wasn't a roller that had me fooled, which isn't difficult, of course!

An hour after I'd posted the message I saw the picture and your article in VS, strange world.

Thats right John, that was before the hat went on it's wanders on Saturday night but it had already been on some journeys on Tuesday night!!

Bonnie Dundee was , I believe , the name carried by 3737 in working days . The Laird was the name given by the first preservation owners .
