Marlborough; Stoke Row; Amberley & Copythorne 10/11 June
 

This weekends trip up from Devon was meant to take in 6 events but a combination of events resulted in visiting four - Wiltshire Steam and Vintage Rally at Marlborough and Stoke Row on saturday and the Steam event at Amberley Museum and Copythorne on Sunday. Looks like you missed the working fields at Oare. First appearance by imported Marshall portable and on a bench W&S Progress. Ploughers did not make it this year but M Farwell was using large Fowler crawler to steam cultivator. Also here the best restored Field Marshall I have ever seen. NB it is easy to miss this excellent section which is accessed a the bottom corner of the main field diagonally opposite the paygate but not visible from it. Just by craft tent where Mrs M won best craft shield this year.
