Burrell 3996
Yesterday we moved the Marshall drum and trailer to dry winter storage so it was a good excuse to light the fire. The run was only 5.5 miles but included some good hills. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...56e1583f5a.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ab783edfa0.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...3a7f25702d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...68a9674cd4.jpg

Sunday was our third day out with Conqueror, and it’s getting better and better. We have put some packers under the front spring to stop the front end bouncing and adjusted the rear springing, repacked all the glands, had the pump in bits so that now work’s, striped and cleaned the injector to make it more reliable and currently we have got the smoke box door off straightening it so it will seal. On the road it is a dream, it steam’s well with plenty of power and it’s quick. As a family we can’t believe how lucky we are to own such a fantastic engine. |
Glad shes gone to a good home.
