A 4" Road loco of any make is going to be fairley pricey compaired to a 4 1/2" Aggie. Just wondering how much he wants for the Mac - it isnt on his website which is unushual?

It's on the website, but read the text with the pictures and Mike says he will not put it up for sale until he has had it put through a boiler test. Sounds fair enough to me.

Cheers
Anthony

No, sorry Keith. I already have a project of my own under way + Princess Victoria is due her hydraulic next year so I have my hands full. I just mentioned John but then remembered he is building 2 4" Rustons.

Charlie.

I wouldn't say it is a good price but is fair. Remember as a business they have to have their mark up.

sparky1962 12th June 2008 09:15 PM

Well yes I suppose that includes the dreaded vat

Burrell Boy 14th June 2008 07:03 PM

Put it this way, he paid a lot less for it; something to do with the market slowing and the recession I'm sure, however it could do with a new chimney and ash pan!
